Adoptions are currently closed while we move operations out of Colorado.
Thank you for your interest in adopting one of our beautiful dogs! Many of our dogs are ready and waiting for their furever homes.
Choosing to adopt a dog from our northern breed sanctuary allows us to continue saving the lives of other shelter dogs in desperate need of love and care.

Rehoming process
1. Meet your
match
View available dogs and complete our rehoming application for the dog(s) you are interested in.
2. Complete
application
Answer all questions as thoroughly as possible to allow us to properly assess your suitability for a particular dog.
3. Suitability
assessment
After we review your application, you will receive an email from our rehoming team. If it’s a good fit, we’ll schedule an interview.
4. Live happily
ever after
If it’s a match, our rehoming team will send you the details to seal the deal on your new furever friend!

If you are interested in more than one dog, state this on your application. You will be considered for all dogs you apply for. If we feel that your first choice dog is not a good fit, we will match you with another more suitable dog and reach out to discuss.
Our goal is to find each dog a furever home where the lifestyle and circumstances are the best fit for them. We base our assessment of suitability on the personality of the dog and their specific needs. Just like our pawsome dogs, loving rescuers have their own unique circumstances too.

All transportation costs to get the dog to you are your own responsibility, however, we will coordinate and assist wherever possible. If you are outside the US, we will get in touch with you to discuss options. Please do not inquire unless you are serious.
If you are under 21 years old, we require a co-applicant who is both financially and physically responsible for the dog.
